Just watched Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. Still not quite perfected, huh? Nothing like watching a green movie in double vision

Aaah. The guilty pleasure of having no children: Waking up at 10:50am Christmas morning. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Heading out the door to an annual Christmas Eve party.

Best wife ever. I'm working late (at home, where I work) and she's bringing me Timbits.

Tonight is going to get crazy! I'll be doing my part for the soldiers. Those demo men need more than a toothpick and plate to put us down.

wanting to contribute to the soldiers, but laughing my butt off to http://ping.fm/uI3n8 cause I'm a scout. #tf2

Putting on my helmet and doing my part to fight for the side of #Soldier in the Demo-Soldier war #tf2

http://gamejolt.com/ is looking better and better. I would love to put some time into game dev again, soon.

Fixed my downed PC. Swapped out the power supply with an older and almost incompatible PSU. Will be buying a new PSU soon.

Wrapping my head around "Ant". Also compiling an .exe from a .jar while inside Linux... well, trying to at least. Head, meet desk.

11th hour bug-squashing.

Looking forward to a Chili dinner with some family tonight.

Was there some sort of Grey foozeball game thing today?

I just jumped on the Left 4 Dead bus.

Heading out for Grandma's birthday party. It'll be wild.

I woke up just in time. 1 minute until the Steam sales switch over.

What's this? A home for something I've espoused about quite a bit? http://the-vector.com/ My thumbs go up. Up in more espousiness.

w000000t! I'm feeling good. Just finished one-heck-of-a-task. Might still have a bug or two to squash, but it's functional :)

#DesertBus is still going strong. Almost $47k raised. Proceeds go to Childrens Hospitals. Donate at http://desertbus.org/

Watching #LRR sing The Darkness' "I believe in a thing called love" for #DesertBus of Hope. http://desertbus.org/

I'm disappointed "Rainslick Precipice" hasn't been on sale in recent memory. Episode Two is already over a year old.

Done lunching. PC is set up and working properly with Ubuntu 9.10 and I've re-configured my Firefox. Next time I shouldn't have to do this.

Everything backed up, I'm removing my Ubuntu 9.04 and 8.10 partitions and installing 9.10 in their place.

When the chess game is over, the king and the pawn go in the same box. Dungeon was a fun experience. http://ping.fm/nWPc4

Finished the main quest of Torchlight in 12 hours as a level 41 Warrior. That was fun.

I just read a nice article about Indie Games and their potential future. http://ping.fm/fHYrY

The Overlord Complete Pack (1, 2, & Raising Hell) at 75% off ($8.75)? I'm there! Steam ftw.

Just watched "Orphan". It was predictable, but still a good movie.

Making a run for Tim Hortons. I need a caffeine and timbit fix.

Rocking even more Java SWT programming. This is a nice breather from web development.

Going crazy with Eclipse and SWT. When I click my app tray icon, it displays. Now if I can get it to display only on Double-Click...

Going on an "I own it" spree at Amazon.ca so they can stop recommending books I own and start recommending awesome books I don't.

Reading a great article at Lost Garden re: Testosterone in gameplay http://ping.fm/0VMiW

Resisting the urge to start a new project. Or to buy a new game. November is going to be a very busy month.

4 groups of kids so far, I'm handing out the cavities at record pace. "Take what you like" has been half the bowl so far.

I'm done! The game is done. Information here: http://ping.fm/3YC4a

Whoop whoop! I just won "dinner and a movie" on the radio. Hello, Rogers movie rental and Little Ceasars Pizza.

Getting a whole lot of grunt work out of the way. 170-something instances of closing a database connection on try-catch-finally exception.

What a lucky day! I just got an ABS Mechanical Keyboard in the mail. Thanks, @GameXpo and @gdevnet http://ping.fm/9ZZZV

Just as I'm shopping around for a laptop, my old laptop (5 years) decided to repeatedly lose power while plugged into the wall.

I have a love affair with Steam. It's what I imagine shoe shopping is for women. Steam prints money $5 at a time (when I give it to them).

Let's give this "productive day" thing a go again. Distractions are put away. Let's write this login page.

Just spent half an hour reading section 43 of the Canada Criminal Code. Is spanking a child illegal? No: http://ping.fm/6rh9n

Another article: Resources for the Cheap-Ass Game Developer. http://ping.fm/V8f33

New Article: VirtualBox Network with WinXP Guest in Ubuntu Host http://ping.fm/EiCKu Quite the puzzle when it doesn't work.

Just watched Trick 'R Treat. Great movie. I'd watch it every year. Like "The Grinch" but for Hallowe'en.

It's "living room re-arrangement day" in our house, today. That translates to "make room for your stuff in your office day", too :-D

I shut off all distractions this morning and I got so much work done by 3pm. I wonder if it was a fluke... Yeah. A fluke.

Heading out to visit my Dad. Bringing the obligatory pizza (and maybe beer).

Oooooh. I really want Dragon Age: Origins. Just finished reading the novel tonight. Steam and D2D have the pre-order up starting today.

Caught in the stumbledupon trap! http://ping.fm/aaYRP Not productive!!!

Kicking butt and chewing bubble gum at work. And I'm all out of bubble gum... lame throwback to the 90s and Duke Nukem.

The deadline for Beer Bottle Rocket Man is getting closer. So is the finished product. Yeah.

The internet is awesome today. The DragonAge character creator is available: http://ping.fm/RLgYW

Happy Birthday, World of Goo! Fans: Name your price. http://ping.fm/yin7R

Installing WinXP within Ubuntu. Wait, is that not allowed?

Awake early (relatively) on this Canadian Thanksgiving day. Getting some work done because none has been done thus far this weekend.

The GameX http://gamexpo.us/ and GameX Industry Summit http://ping.fm/6SLdKsummit/ is coming up soon. What fun! I wish I could go...

Wow. The Left4Dead deal on Steam is uber-tempting. Almost expecting a $5 Left4Dead with pre-order of Left4Dead2 (closer to release date).

I just thought of something that felt important but now I forget what it was. I hate when that happens. Oh. There goes the recycling truck.

Up late last night with my mind that would not shut off. Effectively a zombie today. I LOVE ZOMBES!

Spending a nice afternoon playing Mario Kart and reading Digg between circuits.

Taking my wife out to dinner. Like a boss. Because it's her birfday!

Reading http://ping.fm/aBcPs

Just watched Bored to Death. It gets two of my opposable appendages in upright positions. Will watch it next week.

When you're on the high seas and your crew throws a fit to head for the shore, whatcha gonna do? http://ping.fm/SMJIK

Me wife got outta tha house 'afore'n I could talk Pirate to her. Blast me luck and grogginess.

Refactoring G2DP in a massive way. Stripped demo code from it. Now exists solely as a library. Learning from mistakes.

Just a reminder, tomorrow is Talk Like A Pirate Day. You still have time to catch up on Pirates Attack! http://ping.fm/4MEjc

Encouraging you, enthusiastically, to play "Time Fcuk". http://ping.fm/iBLH4

I'll be the first to admit, I haven't (yet) put much thought into the levels. http://ping.fm/qdB6C #alpha

w00t! Helicopter Ninja now has level transitions. Still have to create the end-game and menu plus a few more tweaks.

Talk Like a Pirate Day is coming! September 19, everyone. Why not check out "Pirates Attack!" http://ping.fm/8KYVX

I picked "Best. Concert. Ever." at #PAX. Finally getting around to watching it.

I've been playing Braid throughout the weekend. I'll just say: I enjoy it. I enjoy it for myself. Not because I'm supposed to. Great game.
