After 4 days of waiting patiently *yep* I found Neverwinter Nights in Hastings. So they can shove that special order of mine down their cacks; whatever that is, but they can still shove it there. Regardless..... whatever. The last few weeks I've been here, I've been hyping my brother up for Neverwinter Nights. He saw videos of the game being played, he saw screenshots after screenshots. There was nothing of the game he didn't see. So today when we found it, he bought it with his money. It was $54.95 before taxes. I don't know the exact tax rate in Georgia, so I'll just guess it came out to $57.99 after taxes -- sure. So he brings it home, starts installing it. I put on Sakura Diaries to watch for the next hour. I end up falling asleep watching the three episodes -- there was no pr0n at all, just a scrub down by titties, some tittie groping and a guy who's receiving the tittie fun from his COUSIN. Back to the topic at hand, my brother started playing NwN after the movie was over. I wouldn't go anywhere near that room, I didn't need any more spoilers than the people in IRC have spouted off already. So, my brother plays the game for the next two hours before he gets bored and says "I don't like that game." "Why not?" I ask. He says "Because it's not at all like Diablo 2" (which he never plays any more). So I say "I'll buy NwN off you for $40" and he says "Sure". I ask him many times afterward "are you serious?" and it turns out he is, so I get $18 off the game. w00t.

While my brother was playing NwN, my sister called from BC, Canadia. Her totally hot friend, from Winnipeg is visiting her, she's been there for the passed week. The last time I had seen her friend, was about two summers ago, maybe three. And she was still a hottie then; imagine three more years to get even hotter (I'd like to imagine anyway) so you can see how I'd really like to see her again. My sister tells me she had talked with her friend a couple nights before for a few hours, and I was the subject. My sister isn't one to bullshit me, so I had to really question if she was screwing with my mind. She insisted over and over that we have to talk when I get back about her friend, etc etc. I still don't know to believe her or not. Sucks I won't get to see that hottie, my plane that takes me home left today at 2:30pm EST, and here it is 8:55pm EST and I'm still in Georgia. Looks like I'm here another month. So, anyway, I talked to her hottie friend for almost an hour today. She was bugging me about the whole missing out thing, and I really wanted to get off the topic. I didn't want to talk about that stuff in case they were fucking with me and I'd come across as an ass to the hottie friend. 'Oh, he likes me. Haha, I'm just playing him but this is fun' because I've had enough of that. Last time something like that happened... I won't get into it. I talked with the hottie friend, and it was all good. She said it's too bad I'll never get to see her this year and blah blah. When I got off the phone with the hottie friend, my sister wanted to talk to me again. I told her to show the hottie friend some recent pictures of me, especially the ones of me in a tuxedo from prom/graduation. Then my sister goes on to say she's serious and we really have to talk. I play it off like "Pfft, yeah right" and she's all "No shitting you. We have to talk". Hottie friend = 20 years old. WiLD2 = 18 years old. Hrmmm, she's got a boyfriend back in Winnipeg. See, they've got me obsessing about it now. Exactly the game they want me to play, or is it a game? Maybe it's real. OH NO.

Such is a scene from Lady Ninja, a movie I rented out of curiosity. Live action Manga, how corny could you get? It's no where near as good as Iron Monkey 1 or 2, Once Upon a Time in China 1, 2 or 3... It's pretty much at the bottom of the barrel.

Today I spent the latter part of the day driving through town visiting all the stores that might sell computer games, in search of the elusive Neverwinter Nights. Hastings had it in stock, but refused to sell it until tomorrow for fear that "They" will get mad at Hastings for selling it sooner. Circuit City told me they weren't expecting it until "The end of June" which tthe circuit city lady then corrected herself and said "Wednesday (tomorrow) or Saturday". Wal*Mart are a bunch of Cat-Turd burglers and there's no point in asking any one of them. Lastly, K-Mart is full of fucktards, and asking someone in there for some help is like asking "here's a giant monkey wrench, pull my tooth. Please sir, may I have some more." My last resort is charging into Hastings tomorrow morning/early afternoon and grabbing 1 of the 5 copies before they are sold out. 5 copies ordered for the RELEASE of a game?!?! How daft can you be?

Off Topic and A Dream

First off, I am slightly confused what the difference between 'Forgotten Realms' and 'Dungeons and Dragons' is.

I spent an hour at the local bookstore yesterday and I happened across the RPG section. $10 would buy me one campaign, cards (I assume), figures, character sheets, cutouts (I assume) and dice (again, I assume). I say 'assume' because on the box, there was no list of contents. Only "includes everything needed to play" which might include a dungeon grid as well. $10 is a great deal, especially since the first DnD Game I ever owned cost $60, which included 8 pewter figurines, dice, cutouts, hard dungeon grid, players handbook, DM handbook, character cards, character sheets, spell cards, item cards, weapon cards, equipment cards... the list goes on for all you can think of. I'm kicking myself in my @§5 now because my brother and I sold the game to a friend for only $15 two years ago before we moved. I don't know where I'm going with this rant, that's why it's off topic.

Now, about the dream. It's short and sweet, which led to my day being depressing until I found an item considered treasure. I had a dream that I was hanging out with some friends of mine, of which included a girl I've liked-very-much-so for the last year and more. I had a dream I had asked her for a kiss, and we proceeded to kiss. The day (in the dream) went good. Then I woke up, figures I had to at an inoportune time. Realizing it was just a dream, you could understand how that would start the day in a depressing way. Then I found the Spiderman skateboard in the mall...

I spent the afternoon poolside today, for a good two hours. An hour into my relaxing pool-side loungefest I covered myself (at least my exposed skin) with Dark Tropical Tanning Oil. It worked. It really, really worked. Now the entire front of my body (body that was exposed) is red, but it didn't start like that. An hour in the sun, on my back, I was fine. I was white; pasty white. 20 minutes after getting out of the sun, I notice how brown I am. 40 minutes later (20 + 40 = 1 hour) the brown turns to hurting red. Now when I'm shirtless, I've got a white wife-beater (muscle-shirt) outline. The tops of my arms are red, the bottoms are white. the insides of my calves are red, the other 3/4 of my legs are white. Lesson learned:

I've spent the last few days at a friend's house, and she had a hottie friend of hers over, as well. That was amusing, but there's this whole age gap that kinda plays on you like "This is wierd" etc. So two days ago I was back home for a few hours while I completed next year's course selection for university. the schedule is mostly Monday, Wednesday and Friday (MWF) for the first semester. Tuesday (T) leaves me one japanese lab and Thursday (R) is my 3 hour long Chemistry lab. Screw that?! Since when does computer science have anything to do with Chemistry, unless it's a discipline thing.... and who's ever heard of discipline in College?

I helped out an old couple with their huge lawn, yesterday. Did that with my brother and a friend of ours. Then my ride showed up early and we had to leave our friend behind to finish the job and clean up. That sucked because I only had half a fence side to finish weed-eating. So 3 hours x at least $8 = decent money. We never got paid that day, either, because we had to leave so soon. And my brother has already spent the money that he doesn't have (it came from me). He's bought himself a GeForce 4; but not just any GeForce 4. No sirreee Bob. He's bought himself a GeForce 4 MX 420, which runs just as well as a GeForce 2 Ultra. For $99 it's a good deal, I think, but since I talked him into buying the GeForce 4 (he says "But I don't want to buy it because you said MX is bad"), maybe I can talk him into bringing it back for a refund and we could buy a GeForce 2 64MB Ti at BestBuy.

Again, regular updates aren't going to happen, this is a VACATION after all.

Today when I saw her, she was working in a local grocery market and had gained a small amount of weight. Yes, girls have an affinity to me... and every time, it ends up being an uber-underaged female. This time it happened to be a 10 year old, and my friend can confirm that. It's her cousin, she'd know; which makes me wonder why she wouldn't stop her before she even started to tell me she was 18 etc. Gross, enough of that.

So, this last week has been fun. I've been out to dinner a couple times, I've visited the Banff Springs Hotel (castle-esque). Very nice place to visit, and expensive to stay even one night, I'm sure. In addition to visiting the hotel, I also got to watch StarWars Episode 2 in the Banff theatre. And the DVDs I've watched... American Pie 2, A Knights Tale, Planet of the Apes, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Titan AE. I'm probably forgetting a couple.

In Lord of the Rings, I've read up to where the Fellowship departs. In fact, they are still upon the steps of the Last Homely House.

OH! Last night, it was raining and raining. I'd never have imagined this late in the season to wake up to 4 inches of snow. May 22!!! SNOW!!??!? It's summer time. I'll be flying away from it tomorrow, 8am I leave. Fun stuff, blog later.

Not to blow my own horn or anything, but young females seem to have an affinity toward me over the internet. Like I was "Truman" fom "The Truman Show" and they were all my fans wanting a piece of me. How true could that be? I mean, if I was the star of my own show... never mind. Anyway, I was chatting with a friend of mine today on MSN. She was visiting her friends in the town were we went to school. She lives in Calgary, she's in BC visting right now. I'm in Canmore, only 40 minutes from Calgary, visiting.

A couple hours after our conversation ended, she started chatting again. Except it wasn't her, but her cousin. So she outright starts flirting and asks me if I'm single. We're both 18, etc. She used the 'heart' icon a few times, then called me sweetcheeks and 'huny' a few times. I showed her a couple pictures of myself, she asked if I wanted to see her. I said 'please' and she responded she'd rather we met in person first, but she did have pictures. So 2 minutes pass and no picture; shortly after, she responds with an excuse why she didn't send (her parent had to use the computer) etc etc.

So, if she doesn't send me a picture before the month is over (and she'd better send a picture if she continues to call me huny and sweetcheeks) then it'll be a month until I see her in person. And then it would be a surprise and could go good, could go bad... and what am I saying? Internet relationships suck, so that's not going to happen. When stuff like this gets thrown at you, it's time to run.

He's A Super Hero

StarWars Episode 2 was very good, probably the best of the bunch, so far. The first day-time showing since it opened Thursday and the theatre was half-empty. Now, let's analyze "half-empty" and "half-full". If I was expecting the theatre to be empty and 50% of the seats were used, I'd say the theatre was half-full because 'full > expectation'. If I was expecting the theatre to be full and only (notice now I use the word 'only' where I didn't previously) 50% of the seats were used, then the theatre was half-empty because 'empty < expectation'. That makes sense?

Now onto my super powers. I've discovered recently that I have the uncanny ability to piss people off at will. Tonight my Grandma was my victim when she, unfortunately for her, happened to set me off. She stated the obvious all too much, and presented it to me like it was news or some schitt. That offended me, so from that point on, I was very quick with my replies and non-communicative. Here's some general things that'll set me off:

1) Asking of my family (may include but is not limited to "So, how's X doing?" or "What is your X doing right now?" or "What is X planning on doing tonight?")
2) Small talk about my schooling (may include but is not limited to "You have to get this done" when the person has expressed no interest in my school work previously)
3) Inquisitions into my life (may include but is not limited to "What did you do today? Why did you do that? When did that happen? Who was there? What color was the shirt you were wearing? What color were your pants? Were you aware those colors don't go well together?")

As you can see, I like some privacy, and I may go to the extremes and insist that you have just trespassed on my personal life. There's a certain few people who may get away with a few questions on occasion. The last message I received from my Grandma was at 10:52pm and it is now 11:47pm. I've since written approximately 1000 words of discussion to her, with no reply. I know she's around because my Grandpa is still online, too. Here's a snippet of our discussion:

She asks me if I'm excited I'm going to Georgia, I reply by telling her I'm not excited and I've hardly given it any thought. That's my way of keeping the excitement to a minimum, I deal with it when the time comes. She explains my Mom and Dad are excited and looking forward to my visit. Well, thank you Miss Cleo. That was something I didn't know, and you are truely a divine person for enlightening me with your knowledge. Yes, that sounds a little harsh, but I never said that to her. In fact, I let it slide, I said nothing... untl a couple minutes later when I responded with an 'ok'. She tells me it's the truth, and to trust her. To which I replied my independance 'I don't need to trust anyone' and there she turns sour. She pushes on me I've got a bad attitude etc etc. I corrected her, explaining I was merely stating my will to not have to rely on other people. I never got a responce after that. She'll be loving me again tomorrow. So tonight, I'll watch "The Hobbit" on VHS and fall asleep, sleeping.

Vacation Si Teh Me

A 9 hour bus ride yielded two hours of sleep, 5 hours of reading (Lord of the Rings) and 2 hours of staring blankly at absolutely nothing, I'm sure. I was just able to check into my email now, as well as update myself on the current Aurora Toolset for Neverwinter Nights from BioWare. Seems the beta toolset was let loose upon the internet today, which is good news all around. Except I don't have my own computer to use it with for another month. Upon which time the game will, undoubtedly, be released.

Here's a new plan to my summer: I spend a week here, in Canmore, only 4 hours from BioWare's offices in Edmonton. I drive into Banff with my Uncle and Cousins and Aunty tomorrow; we all see "Star Wars Episode XCVII: Attack of the Returning Jedi Clones Who Strike Back at the New Hope" as a matine (mah-teh-nay -- it's french, don't ask). Then tomorrow night I go to some clubs and pick up underage women. After the week here, I spend a month in Georgia. Can't say much about the Georgia trip because it hasn't happened yet. After the month in Georgia, I fly back to Calgary; at which time I visit in Canmore for another week. Then to Revelstoke, then Kazlo, then down to Vancouver, then back to Vernon. I'll have my bags already packed when I return to Canadia so there's no harm spending another 2 weeks abroad.

The tunes of Jimmy Eat World carried me through the day, writing test and exam, until my ears hurt from the headphones being on them so long. My final course grade: 80.4% (with 67% on my exam). So hoorah hoorah at that stuff. So with my math out of the way, I'm free to go to Georgia and party like I'm not in school. So tomorrow I leave for Canmore, Alberta. I'll arrive at 5:35pm which gives me 4 hours to freshen up and prepare to hit the nightclubs (namely the Hard Rock Cafe and WiLD Bill's) in my 18 year-old legal fashion. Yeah, 18 is legal; so I'll be fresh game for any cougars out there who want to take a young stud home for the night. Oh, cougar? Nah, too old. I meant any 17-20 year olds. My Uncle Dave has promised to keep me non-sober for the entire week I'm there. He's vowed on my life I'll arrive in Georgia with a 7-day hangover. w00t! Bring on the liquor. I spent 8 hours at school today, from approximately 1am to 9am. That's with a hair-cut sometime inbetween, today, too.

My math stuff is coming along quite well! Though I'm about 2 hours behind schedule I didn't get Chapter 10 finished today, though I did complete roughly 9/11 of it (9 units of 11 from Chapter 10). So tomorrow I'll finish chapter 10, then write the Chapter 10 test. Then study for an hour for the final math exam. Then spend the next three hours after that writing the final math exam. Shock and horror, I just lost my stiffy

Oh yeah, now about my haircut with the hairdresser. I entered the salon for the second time ever, the last time was before December. The hairdresser was talking with a typical hairdresser lisp. Him and the receptionist were talking about cake and the hairdresser was saying stuff like "girlfriend" other hairdresser words. I had washed my hair before going to get my hair cut because I'd generally prefer if washing my hair was left up to me. I guess I didn't know that on Men's night, in which the hairdresser is the only stylist in the salon, the shampoo/conditioning is included in the low-low price of $13. So for the first time ever, a man washed my hair. A man no less. Regardless, he did a good job, even though he shortened my hair to half it's original length when I've been attempting to grow it out for the last 4 months.

I, uh, appear to have brought down DungeonPlanet singlehandedly. See, I posted this picture, claiming it was an in-program picture of a "Beta Toolset" in use. I didn't specifically say it was the Aurora Toolset, or at least I hope I didn't. I then posted the link (it's the DungeonPlanet link to the left) in the General Discussion forum of BioWare. That was 30 minutes ago, and only 7 minutes ago the site stopped responding all together. I'll upload the pic later, after school so you can all see what it is I'm talking about.

The picture of my Redgaurd wearing the robe was starting to get annoying, time to bump it down a little. I went to the college yesterday to work out my course selection. It didn't go too well . Apperantly I'm still enrolled in highschool and still haven't graduated; like hell. So I've got to call some lady and tell her to straighten it out, or at least walk her through it. Now I've got 5 years of school, rather than the average 4 years, mostly because work caused me to flunk out of Math 12 and fall into Math 11. 3 days left to finish my math course, I think I'm making good time. I finished Chapter 7 yesterday, today I'll finish chapter 8 and write tests 8 and 9. Then I'll get started on Trigonometry tonight, finish it tomorrow, study for the exam all night and write the Exam Thursday.

I ask my Dad when is a good day for me to go to my Uncle's (by bus) so I can visit before I go away. He mumbles and grumbles, then pauses for a minute, then grumbles again. Then he tells me he wants me to finish my math first. It's about that time I want to slap him out of his drunken stupor because explaining the same thing to the same person over and over really pisses me off; as my Mom, unfortunately, is proof of that. But this isn't about her, it's about him. So I explain again that whether I leave Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, if I haven't got my math finished by Thursday then I'm not going to get it done at all. So it doesn't matter what day I go, I tell him. Trust him to forget that in another 12 hours (from now, thus 24 hours from yesterday).

I'll put in another 6 or 8 hours of school today, devoted to doing just math like the rest of the year's done to me. Except I usually only stayed at school for 3 hours, no longer. I averaged 2 hours, though. So only 15 hours a week. This week, I'll have 24 hours in; how's that for 4 chapters of work and an exam? The sooner I get this done, the sooner I can get the party started. Like a dog that has a habit of licking his balls, I just wanna have fun. No math = no worries = fun summer.

Sound too good to be true? It probably is; it sounds too good for me. Must be a bug, and if it's not, then I'm extremely lucky to have found it. It must be as rare as an icicle in satans ass. Eww, I don't know where I came up with that metaphor.

Here's where I found it: The Daedric Shrine on one of the two islands immediately south-east of Seyda Neen, the city you start in. You'll encounter Fire Atriarchs, some Cthulu looking baddie, Corprus dudes and Ash Slaves. I had to use two icarian scrolls of flight to get to the end of the dungeon; however, I suppose I could have gotten away with using one if I had gone the right way. Hrm, you might also want to bring the six ash statues found in the wrecked ship near Hla Oad. I saw that six were missing from inside the dungeon. Wonder what would happen if they were put back? I don't know, I sold mine long ago -- stupid me. Anyway, when you're at the end of the dungeon, look up at a 45* angle away from the back of the dungeon. You'll see where you need to go. Potions of Levetation do the trick and are probably preferable over Icarian Flight.

Yup, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; the only days of school I've got left before I'm off to Georgia. 4 days to cram Chapter tests 7 through 10 and write the exam... I might be able to pull it off.
Monday: School, college appointment, dentist appointment. Chapter 7 written today, finish Chapter 8.
Tuesday: School, school etc. Finish and write Chapter 8 test and possibly 9. Get started on Chapter 10.
Wednesday: Finish Chapter 10, maybe write the test. Spend tonight reviewing Chapters 1 through 10 for tomorrow's exam, if I've gone according to this plan.
Thursday: Write the Exam -- Or Write Chapter 10 and the exam. Depends on what I've got left.
So that's my little schedule, which is very tough. I'm trying to cram two weeks of work into 4 days, it IS possible because school opens at 9am and is open until 9pm every day, except Monday (closes at 4:30) and Friday, closes at 12. So I won't be going to school Friday. That day I'll be on my way to Banff, hopefully.

If I miss any of my tests and whatnot in the next 4 days then I'll hopefully be able to cram them into June 24 and 25. Doubtful, though, because those days are report card/grading days. I don't think they'd appreciate me writing tests when they're finishing up the year already.

CAMPER!

I'm back a day early from camping, and just as well anyway. It was costing my Dad $20 a night to have me there, so I only stayed one night. I was following my cousin's girlfriend back today, and she in turn was following my cousin. They were going too slow for my liking so 5 minutes into the drive back (along the dirt road) I stopped my car completely. I gave them a 30 second start on me, could have been more, could have been less. Judging by the (fun) results I wasn't thinking right. They were doing 50km/h down the road, I was doing 65. Not much of a difference, really, but it was enough to catch up to them. So I was going around the corners all sliding and having fun when I get out of a corner onto a straight stretch of road and my car starts to slip on loose gravel. Doesn't sound exciting to you but when I was nearly run off the road twice within 5 seconds, it was lots of fun for me :)

Yesterday was a lot of moping around, and eating, and not doing much else in general. Today was a "study" day, where I spent most of the day reading through my math work. Then I just decided to come home, here I am. The end

I really do fly away on May 23, which is really cool because I'll make it for Newnan Highschool and East Coweta's grad. I just want to make it to EC's so I can see a certain friend before she moves away to New York. Newnan's grad will be good, too, if I can make it. I've got various friends I'd like to see then, too.
May 29, the day of my college appointment, I'll just register online, or get another college-apt friend to register for me. And my sister offered to drop off the $100 deposit for registration, as well. So that's cleared up, but finishing my math course isn't. I've got 4 days of school left before I leave, thanks for next Monday being a holiday. That's 4 days to try and finish chapters 7 through 10 and write the exam as well. All that needs to be done with chapter 7 and 9 is to write the tests seeing how I've finished those already. Chapter 8 (advanced Geometry -- fairly easy) and Chapter 10 (Trigonometry) are all that's holding me back. That and the fact that I'm really rushed for time. So whatever I don't get done in the next 4 days, I'll have to get that done June 24 and 25, 25 being the last day of school.

That was at 4pm, when she let me know my Grandpa's brother, and thus my great-uncle, had just had a severe heart attack. 4:30pm I got a call from that man's son, asking for someone else I had no idea of. Come 5 or 6pm, my Grandpa's other brother calls and tells me that his brother had died and not to have me tell my Grandpa, but that he'd take care of it. So that was Tuesday night.

Tuesday afternoon, I was in school. I got my chapter 5 test results back -- not too good . Only 52% on that test, bringing my mean grade down to 82%, but my overall grade down to 56%. Not too good at all. So I wrote the chapter 6 test, same question formula over and over, so I either passed with 100% or I failed with 0%. And on the topic of school, today I spent 2 hours 17 minutes at school. In social terms, that means I spent 1 hour 50 minutes talking and being distracted with all the female eye candy. The other 27 minutes was spent rushing through a short chapter 9 in all it's statistical glory.

Morrowind update: I started a new character, two actually. Another Thief, but this time it's a Lizard-man, I forget what their race is called. He's a NightBlade. A magic user, more or less, but I use him as a thief, the magic is just to enhance his thieving abilities. My other character, my newest and current favorite, is a RedGuard Knight. He kicks ass.

My Mom tells me she bought my plane ticket to Georgia already. The plane leaves May 23 and is a non-refundable ticket. Why is this bad? Because I've got an appointment May 29 at the college regarding registration and my courses. NON-FREAKING-REFUNDABLE TICKET?!?!? 0_o NON-RESCHEDUABLE-COLLEGE-MEETING. Good -- Bad... I'm falling right now, I'm upside down. You've heard that before, it's probably an equilibrium thing, but I feel like I'm hanging from the ceiling at this news. I'mma go now.

Beta Testing

I feel as if I'm beta testing Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind for Bethesda Softworks. The first day playing it was fine, I hadn't gotten very far in the game, nor was I doing much. Now, however, I find the game crashes on me 3 or 4 times in a 1 or 2 hour session. It happens only 3 or 4 times because I get frustrated with the game and stop playing after that. Here's the bugs I've encountered so far:

1)) You fall through the floor when you bunny hop, happens often enough for you to ph34r jumping. If a lake is underneath you (Vivec City) then you end up falling through all layers of ground until you splash into the water where you need to swim around until you find a place out. If there is no water beneath you, count yourself lucky if you fall and the game automatically resets you on the floor where you fell through. The unlucky time is when you just fall and fall and fall... and fall.

2)) Game crashes when you quick load a game after someone has started talking to you. Can't be reproduced every time, but it happens often enough, as said before.

3)) I'm sure there's a third bug that annoys me.

You all know my system specs, but here they are again in case some Bethesda developer is actually reading this and wants to do something about these bugs.

I locked myself out of my own house today at 2pm, and didn't have my car keys with me either because they were on the same loop as my house keys. I walked around the house 5 or 6 times, checking all the windows and doors. I even attempted to pick the lock of said door, and was almost successfull but I'm underexperienced. So I sat in my car, which I didn't have locked, and read the Lord of the Rings novel for 30 or 45 minutes before I fell asleep. My Dad got home after 5pm and I was back in the house. School was over by then, no point in going out after that.

Assassins Abound

School stuff - that's the name of today's game. I've got to go to town today to get a key from my Grandma for house sitting tomorrow. I figured I may as well stop in at school and write a test, seeing how I'd be in the neighborhood. Busy month, May is. Saw Spider-man (excellent) Friday night; house sit for 3 days; pound posts for a fence; have an appointment with a college councellor re: courses; Uncle's surprise birthday at some lake with cabins (and thankfully electricity); Dentist appointment; and finally, an appointment at the college re: registration of courses and timetable stuff. I suppose I should also pick up a Student Loan application some time soon, if they are even out yet.

The Morrowind of the story

Yessum! I bought Morrowind and have thoroughly enjoyed it since I bought it 36 hours ago. My first character was an Illusionist Mage, but I strayed to the Destructive side. I think I'll scrap him and start a true Destructive mage soon. My second character which I started this morning is an Assassin-Thief variant. Great with acrobatics, good with athletics, great with small blades, good with ranged skills. A very sneaky character, I often steal stuff from shop keepers whilst they aren't looking and I sell them back. I was only caught once when I tried selling a basket back to a shopkeep, he said "That basket is mine. What have you got to say?" and his fondness of me went down from 46 to 45 of 100. No big deal, and he didn't call the guards on me. Now, if I can find a mage with 60,000 gold or better, I'll be rich. I stole a 60,000$ soul gem from a mage apprentice, but most shop keepers only have 800 gold on them, so I can't sell it yet.

Time to sneak through the town some more and loot some more stuff. I just hope I won't get caught later on; meaning I don't get caught right away, I hope the shopkeeps don't put 2 and 2 together and come after me. I'll be forced to whoop some ass, instead of hiding in shadows.

OK, I called around to EB Games, Radio Shack and Wal*Mart, in that order, and nobody has Morrowind. The assistant manager of EB says the game will be in tomorrow with the morning shipment, but I don't trust that bastage >_< he never hired me when I applied there months ago. Guess it's just because I'm over qualified for the job. If all goes well, I'll be adventuring all night tomorrow, after I get back from the theatre and Spiderman, right? Right!

Small Break

I've got the Lord of the Rings novel from my friend, who I also borrowed his PS2 from, but he's got my GameCube now. Morrowind is also supposed to have been released upon the North American public today. Barring only reviews, I'll see in a few days whether or not I buy this game. It could tide me over until the release of Neverwinter Nights, and then again, it could make me overlook NwN completely -- all depending, which is to be expected. And since I'll be house sitting for my grandparents this weekend, and pounding fence posts for my Uncle, I should come back at least $60 richer, the game being $75 most likely.

And that doesn't sound like it went too well. It was great, I had fun. But no where, any time, was I told any money would be coming out of my own pocket. That's why I brought my own food, right? Yeah, that's right. I packed my own food and my own drinks. So why, then, didn't anyone tell me before I left that I'd have to pay for the food I'd eat while camping? I had my own food to eat, but everyone pushed their food down my throats. Not that I said "No thanks, I think I'll eat my own food", because I would have rather eaten their food. But if I had been told, "Those two eggs, two sausages and two slices of bread you just ate cost you $5" I'd be like "fucking hell no it doesn't". So out of these meals, it cost me $25: [thin steak with mashed potatoes], [4 pieces of French Toast with two sausages (of which there were leftovers)], [two burgers], [spaghetti (plenty left over)] and finally [two eggs, two sausages and two slices of bread]. As for liquids, I mostly drank water and my 5 cans of diet cola nobody would touch. Now I'm kind of bitter, because everyone else ate much more than I did, I'd have been quite happy only owing $15.

I'm going to be lame and camp the next 24 hours at least, possibly even 48 hours. Nobody likes a camper but somebody's got to do it. And with the possibility of coming across wobbly female companions, it'll be well worth it. Out to one of the many lakes tonight, where hopefully the snow's all melted from. Otherwise I'll be sleeping my my car for two (possibly one) nights. Birthday parties are tons'o'fun, but only if you're 16 or older and it's not your own party. My friend turns 23 today, I think. Could be younger, he acts younger. So it'll be drink-drink and make whoopy tonight, though I never liked using that term "whoopy". It made me think of Whoopy Goldburg and that's never a seksi thought.

Not really, of course. But it is one of those days I just want to get away from my computer. I think I'll go upstairs and play some Tekken Tag Tournament on the big screen. Or maybe I could make myself some instant noodles and scratch my nuts.

As you can see, I never did take that "one week break" from my computer. That's alright, I got caught up in some other stuff. So many projects going on at once, that's pretty bad. I'mma try to change into one of those people who only has one or two projects going on at once; if you have many it's usually a sign that you can never stick to it through the end.

Excitement about Neverwinter Nights is building. I redownloaded the three known (to me) trailers of the game and I want more. I want a demo of the toolset. I want I want I want. Please, for my own good, do not give them to me. I've signed up for the beta and I've been a member of the official NwN forums for months. I'm as good a shoe-in for the beta as anybody. That could be your present to me, BioWare.

I like your necklace. It really suits you.
She was eye'ing me up in the line at the cashier. She started walking down to her few groceries and had left her walking stick (it sounds much more grand than 'cane' ) hanging off the side register. My Dad walks up immediately after her, taking her place, but leaving her grand scepter there (so now it's a grand scepter?). I picked it up and hung it on the seperator post thingy behind her. She started looking around for it, so I pointed it out. She picked it up, looked at me, and she smiled. She then proceeded to tell me she thought my necklace suited me very well. See, it's a wodden bead necklace; brown and tan in pattern. I made it myself after my youngest cousin tried pulling it down over her fat head last summer. The clamp was closed and she succeeded in showering the lawn with 50-odd wooden beads. Needless to say, my necklace is now made of 40 or so. -- I always like to help other people

Now, for the game stuff. I spent two hours last night playing Dungeon Siege with the No-Level mod. The first hour, I levelled up my lvl 0 farmer to lvl 38. In the second hour (or slightly more?) he graduated to lvl 67 Champion. Talk about power levelling :) I'm bored and there's not much else to do with the game.

Today I started a new character. Instead of the melee character like last night, I spent the last hour building an Archer. In 60 minutes, no more and no less (it's my limit ) I brought her up to lvl 50, 3 attacks away from lvl 51 !!! Now that is impressive, more or less. I'll spend another hour with her later, then I'll choose which character, the Master Sharpshooter or the Champion, I'd like to run through the Single Player map with, in MultiPlayer mode; at least the castle level.

Aaaaaaaahhh, massive (de?)pressurization of my ear. It pains!!! I just spent the last 2 hours power levelling a friend's combat mage in Dungeon Siege. Went from 0 to 28 in about 50 minutes, then another hour. He's lvl 38+ now, we killed the Dragon Queen, then cleaned out the Drake Nest of all other drakes. By that time it was 2am and I wasn't really too eager to stick around much longer.

While playing Ragnarok Online today, I lvled myself up to 17 and job lvl 7 Swordman.
My ProgressQuest character, SnotShrivel is a happy little Double-Hobbit Bastard Lunatic. He's currently level 38, very close to level 39 and kicking muchos ass.
Shock and horror!!! I'm in first place in the BuF Fantasy Baseball league! 0_o I bumped Dopefish out of first place. Though, tomorrow (today by Blog's terms - the 22) I'll be down to 5th or so. I've only got 4 batters playing today, so statistically I should suck.

Tomorow is going to be another day at school writing tests so I can catch up. I succeeded in sitting on my ass all weekend and not doing much of anything. I didn't touch my homework once. Not so much as even a bump, or lifting up the book to get at something underneath it. I have will-power. Oh! Yes I do.

Gas Powered Games, it's taken me a long time to track you down. And now that I've finally found you, I thought you'd like to know you're my Daddy. You see, this game you just made has owned me almost every single day since I bought it, and I got it asap. I was up last night conquering the Great Northern Forest and when I say conquering the I mean I really cleared it out. There was nothing left alive in the forest, save for the odd fairy, butterfly and fish in the ponds you can't fry. The bandit boss to the N-W through the Great Forest yielded a kickass rare ring which I cherish. And the 4 drakes (maybe it was 3? I can't remember, it was 4am when I got there) guarding their various treasures proved a very worthy fight. Mostly because I was in a 3 person MP game and I was taking on the G.N.F. all by myself as a lvl 36 Magus.

Sleep deprivation Hallucination

So's I'm driving home tonight after visiting some friends out of town. It's 1:45am on the way home, I'm in the middle of town, the streets are dead. I'm a zombie behind the wheel, dead tired, but aware enough to drive - or so I thought. I glance up and see the light turn yellow, so I slow down and stop the car. There's a vehicle in the oncoming traffic who runs the red light. I glance up and it's green. Did I gap out? I don't think so, my foot would've fallen off the clutch. Sleep deprivation hallucination.

I'm almost home, I'm at another intersection but this time the light is green. I know for a fact it's green, I can go, it's green. I checked twice, three times. It's green. Then why is there a guy walking at the crosswalk only 70 feet ahead of me while I'm doing 60 mph? I glance up, the light is green, I can go. It's green. I still don't know why he didn't run out of the way :-/

Late Night Ramblings

I have to wake up in 8 hours (regular sleep length) and drive my Dad into town so he can pick up a vehicle.

Ari talked me into playing Diablo 2 LoD today. After my stint with DungeonSiege, I notice Diablo2 is a lot faster, the characters anyway. I found myself wanting to hit the health and mana hot keys a lot. Of course, since it's Diablo 2, there are no health and mana hot keys, only belt slots. That and I wanted to rotate the screen, too. Other than those two nuances, I was back into Diablo 2. At least for tonight, or whenever someone else is in a game and wants me to play, too.

TWD, a resident misunderstood jackass of BeyondUnreal Forums (link to the left), still holds ownership to #bad in ETG. I demand he pays child support, or at least gives me visitation rights. In fact, I might just null our little arrangement with the help of an ETG admin. Yeah, take #bad out of his name and put the ownership in my hands. It's ok if you don't understand what I'm talking about; I might explain some other time.

Progress Quest

After a two month break of not running Progress Quest, I've learned my lesson and will be backing up the save for my character on a regular basis. I had three L33T characters before hand. Wangus, WangBottom and WangDangle. I lost all three beyond repair when I shut down my computer without first exiting the PQ program. I have since learned to make regular backups, you can find my new character right here.

For the daily news, I woke up this morning and thought, "I'd like to go to school today". So I rushed upstairs, ate my breakfast at the table (I've eaten downstairs every morning since December - so you will notice this is a new thing). I then got in and out of the shower as quickly as possible. Then I got caught in a tangled mess with my computer for 30 minutes this morning, longer than I thought I'd be. Soon after (about 12:30) I was out the door and heading into town. I stopped at The Violin Shop to buy (non-impulsively) a guitar strap. Something I've been meaning to buy since last summer but never got around to it. When I finally made it to school, I was ready to do two or three tests. Yeah right, it took me 2 hours 25 minutes to finish one test. That was enough for me. So I'll be going back into town in an hour or so to get started on test #2 of the day, Chapter 4 of Principles Math 11. I kind of cringe when I see "Math 11" because technically, I'm in the 13th grade. I graduated last year and I'm smarter than this, it's proven that I'm smarter. Just goes to show what a year off school can do to a person's brain.

Damned Albertan Rednecks (not all)

This is the story all about how my Dad got cut off in traffic down town etc. My Dad's in the far right corner of two lanes going into town. The rednecks in their truck should have been in the left lane, but were instead in the middle of two lanes all throughout the corner. So my Dad lays on the horn, but they stay in the middle lane (and this is why it's a well known fact Albertan drivers suck a large amount of bullcock when it comes to driving). After the corner, they are back in the left lane. Both the rednecks and my Dad are side by side at the intersection, so my Dad shakes his fist (or flips them the bird) to let them know he thinks they are both dumb asses.

My Dad takes a right to go into the mall parking lot where he can take money out of the bank. The two rednecks follow him into the parking lot. My Dad's about to go into the bank, the passenger comes yelling at him "why'd you finger me, I wasn't driving". Well, the obvious reason would be "because you were the closest to me, dumbass". My Dad said something like that, and he could see the guy was ready to take a swing. Dad dodges and begins pummelling on the guys stomach. The driver comes out, starts swinging at my Dad, so Dad whoops on him, too. They both walk away, then one guy turns around, comes back. Dad engages him, then he gets sucker punched from behind by the second guy. Dad turns around, the guy runs away and trips. Dad runs up and kicks him in the ass while he's down. By that time, someone had run over to break it up. It was some big guy from the gas station in the parking lot. The end, the rednecks ran away before the big guy came over. All that happened to my Dad was a redmark on the front of his face from being sucker punched and he's got a foot print on the front of his shirt, but he doesn't know how it got there.

Wonder if that's a bad thing? I bought my GameCube on impulse. I figured, "Hey, I just got fired and I want to spend my money. Oh, look at this, this would be great to play with my friends" and I dropped 500 Canadian dollars on my complete set-up. I believe that I impulsively wanted to buy a Sum41 concert ticket. Today I then proceeded to change my mind of spending $35 on the Sum41 concert ticket, and decided, because of a discussion of old comic books, that I'd rather pay $45 for "The Secret Wars" marvel comic collection book. So tonight, I'm reading through GameSpy and see a review of 007: Agent Under Fire for the Xbox. Then I think "Hey, I should buy that for my GameCube. I was waiting a month until after it was out, anyway. Yeah, I'll do that instead of buying a Sum41 ticket or Comic Book". I heard 007: Agent Under Fire was an excellent game, I might as well get that if I can.

As for the compulsion, that comes after the impulse. For example, I was reading through an online comic, 8-Bit Theatre when I impulsively decided I needed to make a Black Mage in 3D. Then my compulsive self kicked into high gear and I decided I had to finish the model all in one sitting. Once I've got my mind set on something, it's rare that I don't carry it through.

$40 was what I earned today. And a Snickers candy bar as a "tip" so my Aunty says. That's $90 in two weeks, almost $20 more than what I was earning bi-weekly at my highschool job two years ago. My Uncle wants me back next week to help him build the fence we tore apart.

Not a good day

Lately I've turned into one of the typical post-highschool guys who falls asleep way too late and wakes up around noon. Noon = between 10 and 12. This morning was a particularly nasty morning. I wake up to my Dad knocking on my bedroom door telling me to wake up (which never happens but I'd appreciate it if he actually took charge of something in my life and started giving me shit about something. I almost get away with murder here). Oh, yeah; anyway. He tells me my Uncle phoned and wants me at his house for 12 noon. "Damn!" I think, he could have given me a couple days notice. He wants to cut down more trees and then rip out the fence in his yard. I have to be there to help, partly because I want to (but I wish I had more notice) and partly because I'll get at least $30 out of it. I hope, rolling out of bed with a bleeding nose (yes, I rolled over and blood came pouring out my nose) had better warrant at least $30 for the day starting off bad already.

My Uncle is the head Chef in his restraunte (Italiene) so whatever is left over from the night, he gives to my grandma, who in turn gives it to my dad and I.

I just read through my first Blog and I'd have to say, it's kinda scary. I called all my ex co-workers "hot" and "my own age" when in reality, there was only 2 or 3 that were remotely good looking. That and none of them were my age. The closest to my age was 20 (I was 17 when I was there), and each and every person there had a significan't other. Whoa, that just put a thought in my head -- I got fired because I never got laid. Here's a lesson boys and girls:

After numerous template changes, I finally decided to go with the first one I tried :-/ Flames, yes flames are always a nice touch. CrackWhoreMonkey seems to be modifying his website, as well, so I'm working sans smilies now. Hrm, what's new?

Jedi Knight 2 is kicking an ample amount of rear-end. Dungeon Siege is still impressing me. Oh, speaking of which, I almost had a near disaster in it. There's two ways to save. The normal save (which is a back-up of sorts in an emergency) and then there's the quicksave. I had saved and quicksaved before I had entered some bandit's base, and proceeded to only quicksave for an hour after that. Forgetful me, you're never supposed to forget to quicksave, and I didn't, but I did forget to save as my emergency slot. An hour after my last save, my two mages were killed. I immediately went to hit the quick load button, but by mistake I pushed quick save. So here I am with one DEAD mage, and one that's knocked out. The big problem is, only mages can revive people from the dead, and I couldn't very well load up my emergency save because that was an hour behind me. Back to my chilling story, my nature mage wakes up and I immediately had him cast resurrect on my combat mage. Mr Nature Mage proceeded to receive an asswhooping and he was now officially dead. It went back and forth like that for about 4 revival/resurrections. You try facing two umberhulks with 1200 life each, and two enemy mages casting two more when you're done with the existing umberhulks. It's fairly hard to stay alive like that. So nature mage revives combat mage. Combat mage revives nature mage, etc etc, all the time my ranger is knocked out, my mule is knocked out. All that's riding on the survival of the party is my character "Van WiLDer" and his dwarf buddy "Garulf" -- or whatever the Dwarf's name is. The end.

Aren't I the best at story telling? ^_^

Um... oh yeah! I think I'll start modelling for NeverWinter Nights soon. Not officially -- I could only wish. But I'll start modelling some characters I'd like to import into the game, and thus into my own modules. CaSCaDe from DungeonPlanet has already started modelling. Here's his first model, a golem of sorts. He's already got animating down, now I just need to learn it as he has.

Yeah, I made $50 in the last three days. $30 came from clearing trees, $20 came from the house sitting. I got DungeonSiege and I can almost cry because the game is so great. I've got Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast now, as well, so I'll have to tie DS, JK2 and MATH-HOMEWORK all together into one harmonious thing, or whatever. Um, I think that's pretty much my update. I still want to make a Captain Zim and Gir model in 3D Studio. I've also got in mind an anime robot. I don't know why, really, but I've got a hard on for cel shaded models lately. Just turning my world into a cartoon a little bit more each and every day I'm still breathing.

This is how the cookie crumbles

T'was a good few days by myself at my grandparent's place. I got some homework done for a change. I dropped by the school today, printed off more work. I'm now on Chapter 7 of 10, which is extremely good. I helped my Uncle clean out his yard of tree branches etc yesterday. 3 hours of work and $30 later we were done. Now I've got the cash to buy my concert ticket for the Sum41 concert May 6, I'll be there.

I was fairly active playing Diablo 2 for quite a few days last week. I haven't played it for about 4 nights, now. Dransik, well that's kind of "old news", seeing how I haven't played that for longer. I tried Ghost Recon, but my system seems to be a little weak in the knees when it comes to that. Low details everything and it's still running at approximately 25 frames per second. There is no FPS metre in the game diagnostics, not that I've found, but I think it's pretty common for people to develop a trained eye for FPS when it's anywhere from 5 fps to 35 fps.

I'll be getting Dungeon Siege soon enough, hopefully that won't pull me away from NeverWinter Nights, when that's released in May. Then again, maybe NwN will be too much of an epic for me and I'd prefer the hack'n'slash fun of Dungeon Siege. Who knows, yet. I know I don't know. BioWare is a talented team and I'm sure they'll deliver the goods when it comes to NwN.

I haven't updated in the passed few days, mostly because nothing interesting has happened lately. I'm house sitting for my grandparents this week, so I'll be without an internet connection. Good thing is, though, that I'm bringing my computer with me, and with no interruptions (that cursed IRC) I'll be able to get some work done for a change. Ugh, yech and all those aweful reching sounds. MSN, ICQ and AIM are just as bad. I won't miss not having those, all too much.

I felt strangely compelled to write here. It's almost 3am and I'm still awake. Too bad this has been my regular bed time :( I need to get to bed on time or something. Like, on time on time.

NetHack, the grandpappy of rogue-like dungeon games, has consumed me. That, and I've started playing Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction again. T'is fun when you know the people you're playing with. HINT HINT >_< Jiro start playing again or I'll pawn it off for some cash so I can buy the next greatest Nintendo GameCube game.

Uh... Oh yeah! I did get to 3D Studio Max today ^_^ It took me a whole hour and a half but I made a dresser. Wouldn't my Mom be proud. Although I did tell her I'd make the robot tonight. I just figured the robot wasn't my thing, I'd do somthing on my own, something original if I wanted to make a robot. I think that's my exciting day. When I wake up today I guess I'll do some math crap, then more game/modelling stuff. Oh yeah, I also got a letter from a friend in Georgia, Heidi, today. G'night all.

So I'm out of IRC for a week. ETG didn't even warn me. Oh well, guess that leaves me more time to do my math work and less distractions. Unless I'm distracted by my newly acquired 3D Studio Max. I could try to cycle my IP (unplug myself from broadband connection) but that could take anywhere from a day to two or three. I doubt it would work overnight, but seeing how I wake up in the afternoon, it just might have been cycled by then. Good idea, Ari. So now I'm going to watch TV -- or something.

Weekend Synopsis

Heh, technical name More like: This is what happened on my weekend. Anyway, this is what happened on my weekend. Thursday I went to the theatre and saw Resident Evil. That movie is the best game-movie conversion I've ever seen. It was so beautiful I nearly had tears in my eyes at times. Who cares about the the CGI (computer generated imagery), all we want to see are corny zombies chomping on people. However, it did look great. The genetic mutants were... well, kinda dumb. They shouldn't have been included and should have instead been substituted by a different type of virus that mutates upon contact -- I won't give away the movie now.
Friday: It was a good day Friday. I went skiing with my sister and her boyfriend. It's a great thing that I live so close to one of BC's best ski hills. My second time skiing, ever, and I kicked ass. Summit hill, I own you.
Friday night, we all got pizza and rented movies. Training Day rawks. Artificial Intelligence rawks. Evolution is ok. Saturday I woke up and came home, sat around doing geek stuff. I'm 8 trophies away from having every trophy in Super Smash Brothers Melee and it's getting irritating getting every last one. So I've been doing that for a while. Sunday, I sat around home all day while my Dad was at some banquet. Today... today's today. Who knows what I'll be doing today.

Oh yeah, after the movie I went to my grandparent's place. My Grandma almost killed me with kindness, not like that's out of the ordinary. Resident Evil was on at 4:30pm, I got to my Grandma's around 6:15pm. There I sat waiting for my sister to call until 10pm where I drove to her place and sat outside waiting for them to come home (waited 30 minutes). I then drove 20 minutes home only to find out that her boyfriend called and said they'd be home any time and still want me over to play GameCube tonight. PS I'll pay for your gas. So, cool, I call them back and I'm still waiting for them to get home and call me back and tell me to get my ass over there. I'm bored, and as you can see, I'm typing in my BLOG before midnight.

I had an awesome dream this morning just as I was waking up. I dreamt that I was a Canadian soldier in a Canadian infantry unit kicking some serious Nazi ass in the "hold the bridge/town" level of Day of Defeat 2 point Oh. I got in shit because I fell asleep when I was supposed to direct my attention to some spoiled-boy seargant of some sort. So I quickly polished my boots and jumped back into battle, but this time as Spiderman!!!
Well, there were three spiderman's. I was probably moreso the Ben Reilly of Spidermans. The clone, or something. The other spiderman was Spiderman 2000, I believe, or whatever the "future" spiderman is from the comics. That strays from the real path of Parker's life, so I don't even consider it. And the third Spidey was the man himself. Peter Parker. We swung/crawled through the level webbing up Nazis and generally making a good time of dodgine bullets. There is no better feeling than swinging through a city, or crawling around buildings. Well, perhaps having the super-hero ability to fly. Or, even better, sexorizing while flying.

Well, Blog was down today when I needed it the most. No rant from me, I forget it already. It was about Dransik, again, anyway. Some cake-ass accused me of stealing his loot. I had walked passed his loot and stood next to the castle wall. I'm a green monk. A green wizard walks up to his loot, picks it up and makes off with it. If I were stealing, I'd have run off with the loot. So the dumbass comes up to me and demands I give him his money (19 gold coins from a kobold). I told him it wasn't me who took it. He went on and on how he saw that I had taken it because his corpse was still next to it and he hadn't clicked to respawn yet. He gave in, I didn't steal it. He sulked off but not before calling me a loser. I helped the sumbitch. I told him who to look for. Ass.

Happy Birthday to my youngest sister, Nykol. She's a whole 21 years old today.
What did I do today? I found my Tie Fighter CD today. I was thinking it was X-Wing VS Tie-Fighter but I was wrong. It's not as good as I remember it. Today I downloaded a (currently) free MMORPG. It's called El Kardian which plays kind of like Ragnarok Online but with 3D models, and the game seems a bit slower, though you do level up faster.
Um, I think that's it. I watched StarWars Ep4 for the first time ever, last night, and I watched Ep5 for the first time ever, today. Going to the theatre to see Resident Evil is on my list of things to do. The end.

So, no I really didn't know that there was a sticker for the Memory card. I picked the plastic packaging (still 80% sealed) and there it was, right up by the hole the metal hanger thingy pokes through. The sticker was (and still is) hidden inside the plastic packaging. This thing has reached relic status and I'm afraid to pull it out of it's plastic casing for Ph34r of breaking some sacriligeous taboo (which I just made up, minus the religious part). Ah hell, I want to put this thing on my Memory card.

I read throught most of the comics I read through (10 comics) but I stopped after I had read through Penny-Arcade and all it's fun filled rants. I got so sidetracked after reading their news, I ended up reading two game reviews, I downloaded EditPlus (which I haven't used yet, though I probably should try). I then downloaded a movie (linked from P-A) of "Japangrish vs Bill Gates" in which Bill is asked questions by Japanese students and he tries to understand them as best he can. He also kicks some guys ass in Project Gotham Racing, head to head with a teenager.

That's my update, it's too late for much else.

I upgraded to WinXP yesterday morning, from WinME, for the second time in two months. Upon doing so, Trend's PC-Cillin (again, I'm too lazy to post links, so just google it) stopped working. I was only 10 days into my 30 day trial (if that). So I downloaded it again, figuring "What the hell, it'll install again, won't it?"
Well, the fscking program didn't install again. After numerous downloads/attempted reinstalls, it would always come up with "MSIV Error Copying Files" or some such thing. So I thought to myself "Hey, self, why not edit the registry and take the image out of there". So I tried, and I couldn't find anything doing with Trend or PC-Cillin. Crap on that, a friend suggested a free Anti-Virus program. AVG. I'm guessing it means Anti-Virus... G. So I'll give that a whirl.

I haven't played Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction for the passed two months, and something clicked in my head {Your characters/accounts are deleted after 90 days of inactivity} so I reinstalled Diablo 2 and LoD (all 1.73 GB of it) just to play 20 seconds of each character. Well, I did do one Meph run with my lvl 83 Sorc, Matriarch SRC_WiLD, and I did the beginnings of a Bloody run with my Lvl 68 Assassin, Matriarch ASN_WiLD; both US West. Two accounts on US West, one on US East, secured for another 90 days.

I got Monster Rancher Advance this morning, I played it for almost an hour, maybe more. Anyway, in game time I played for a year and a half. My tablet word was "WaNG" spelled exactly like that, and I came out with Nessie the Loch Ness Monster. Oh, speaking of which, I'll have to ask my Scottish friend(s) if the Loch Ness Monster is supposed to look like a freaking blue/white seal with a long neck. Hrm, speaking of which, I want to get back to playing that. I'm ranked "B" thus you must Ph34r me. Now all I need is a GBA and a link cable and a certain game for my GameCube and I'll be technologically set.

You know, this is turning out to be one of those "monthly" things. You don't read this, I know you don't. You don't either, and unless you do read this, then there's no point in posting here, really. Happy birthday to my brother, Jiro. He's a whole 17 years old today.

Advance Wars... (... is such a cool word!!! ... see) This is a really cool game. I have accomplished a rating of 96 points thus far, and am in possession of the Grey Rat medal. Ph34r me!!!
Um, I started playing Final Fantasy 5 again (arguably the best FF of the series. And if you don't agree with me, that's because it's arguably the best and what you say doesn't matter to me). I played it once before but I lost my save file just as I was going to the second world (about 40 hours of play time lost). So I'm playing again, yeah.
Serious Sam The First Encounter is a rux0r game, buy it now for the already discount price (The Second Encounter is really cheap, too).

Oh, IGN dot com is really starting to piss people off. Boycott them; or something. Refuse to pay, I deal with it, and it really sucks. What the hell? Only allowed "X" number of picture downloads before they lock that ability for the day. Llamas.

Is this the monster post yet? Resident Evil the MOVIE is only 3 days away. Mila Jovavich is a goddess, The Fifth Element (still my favorite movie) is proof, and she'll kick some zombie ass come this weekend. Blade 2 is 10 days away. Ari, you reading this yet? I'll kick your ass in the next game of Worms! I really will... or I'll try, anyway. Oh, who am I kidding, you'll win.

Oh yeah (attention deficite disorder much?) This sytem will (or does?) really sucks. It's Korean only right now and it can stay that way. It's no substitute for the GameBoy Advance, especially since the GBA is so much cheaper and superior.

Go buy one now, if you're still undecided over a PS2 or X-Box. GCN is cheap and their a buttload of games being released next month and the rest of Quarter 2. The games I'm most interested in playing are Super Mokey Ball (though I still haven't rented or bought it), Legend of Zelda GC, Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet, Metroid Prime (November release) and Phantasy Star Online v2.0 ,which, according to this here at GameSpy, it should have been released yesterday. But the dumbass' must have typo'd it because I've found no confirmation that it's actually out.

So if you're itching to get a next generation console, get the good old Nintendo for 30% cheaper than the PS2 or X-Box and enjoy yourself loads of fun with Super Smash Brothers Melee (excellent party game) and Super Monkey Ball (another excellent party game).

Yeah, MUDding took up the better part of a couple weeks, I levelled up my Thief to 18. Takes forever when the whole game consists of text. Then I forked over $84 for Diablo Battlechest and I've been playing that for the passed couple days. Ph34r mah Lvl 41 Assassin. I got Return To Castle Wolfenstein last night, installed it this morning, skipped school and played that all day. Good fun. More computer related stuff, my 12x CD-Writer that I bought 3 weeks ago died 4 days ago. I was playing Lord of Destruction (Diablo 2 Expansion) and suddenly the CD-Writer stops reading the CD. The tray won't open up and windows wouldn't load. Took that back to Radio Shack, spent $14 and upgraded to a 16x10x40 CD-Writer. Easy to install and get working, this thing pumps out 650+MB CDs in 6 minutes, those are Data CDs though, I haven't tried making audio CDs. That's it for computer stuff, now prepare for my G33K Penis.
